Egans Electrical ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how it's handled.

What we collect

When you submit a quote request or contact form, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, phone number, email address, property address, a description of the job, and any photos you choose to upload.

Why we collect it

We use this information to prepare quotes, schedule and carry out electrical work, communicate with you about a job, and meet our record-keeping and compliance obligations as a licensed electrical contractor. We don't use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

Storage and service providers

Photos submitted through our online quote form are stored using Vercel Blob storage. Quote and contact emails are sent using Resend. These providers process data on our behalf and only to the extent needed to operate the website and quote form — we don't sell or share your information with any other third party.

Retention

We retain quote and job information for as long as reasonably necessary to complete the work, meet compliance and warranty obligations, and satisfy record-keeping requirements, after which it is deleted or archived securely.

Access and deletion

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it, subject to any legal or compliance obligation to retain records. Contact us at michael@eganselectrical.com for any of these requests.
